GET TO KNOW ME

I enjoy working with ADHD and Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, challenges relating to being a parent, and grief. I see adults, adolescents, and children ages 5 and up. I am associate licensed and currently under supervision.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University in 2021 with a major in Sociology. I then went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work from The University of Georgia in 2023. I obtained my LMSW license in the fall of 2023.

Hi I’m Abby! I work with children (ages 5 and up), teens, and adults, and have experience working with many different challenges including ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, as well as providing support for parents and family therapy. I mainly draw upon Humanistic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy to serve clients. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed perspective, and I completed DBT training through Treatment Implementation Collaborative in January of 2024.

I believe that therapy is unique to the individual and that you are the expert of your own life. I want you to feel comfortable to be yourself in our sessions. I’ve been described as energetic, creative, and flexible, and this definitely shows in my approach to therapy. My goal is to adapt therapy to fit your needs, and to help you reach whatever goals you have!

Fee: $80-135 per 50 min session

*I do not take insurance, though I offer Superbills if you have out of network benefits you'd like to take advantage of and pay full fee. I also offer some sliding scale spots to individuals that need financial assistance.
